Synopsis:

Secret is the music video for Icelandic Band Cynic Guru’s latest single. Shot in two international locations, Reykjavik Iceland and New York City, Roland, the lead signer of Cynic Guru, finds himself in the midst of an international conspiracy as he races across continents to escape his pursuers.

Secret pays tribute to both classic and contemporary action films. Many of the sequences in the video were directly inspired by notable films and characters including North By Northwest, Enter The Dragon, Die Hard, and venerable James Bond series of films.

Axel grew up in the rural college town of Clemson, South Carolina where he began his adventures in filmmaking.

While attending the University of Southern California, Axel's directing career was sidetracked by rock & roll. Closure, the band he co-founded, signed with TVT Records which led to several years of touring North America and a mild case of fame. Once, he was recongized by two girls as the lead guitar player of Closure while standing in line to purchase Kleenex and a pack of gum at a London Drugs in Vancouver, BC.

After splitting from the band, due to artisitc differences, Axel reconnected with filmmaking and now travels the world directing music videos and commercials.

Axel currently resides in New York City.
