Synopsis:

Last night Rhett Somers, so far scraping by on good luck or just plain old ignorance, met the love of his life. The only thing left to do is convince her that she's the one. Not an easy feat considering how they met.

Peter Besson, born in Germany, suffered through a deluge of self-indulgent German films to realize what all entertaining films had in common: they’re made in America. So he heeded the call and moved west as far as possible without ending up in the Pacific: Los Angeles. He’s a writer/director/editor with too many slashes in his job description, making his living as a Film Trailer Editor for Universal Pictures.

He shot his first short film, 'Accident', straight after graduating from the University of North Texas at the top of his class. It went on to play at over 30 film festivals, including one showing at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He also wrote/directed/edited “Dream Hackers” for the SCI-FI channel and the music video “Boy Lie Girls Steal” (so true) for Slow Roosevelt. His latest screenplay “Shrovetide” is a finalist in several competitions. "True Beauty This Night" is his most recent short film, and as of this writing, it has won a dozen awards and played in over 60 festivals worldwide.
