Director Michael Zauner
Michael Zauner has a background in communication design, which he studied at the Fachhochschule Augsburg
(FHA) in Germany. During his studies he developed a love for the moving image, specialising in animation and
video editing during the final semesters. After some short animations and school projects he released GRAUZONE
as his graduation work.
Films he‘s made while at the FH Augsburg include:
- Ein irrer Film (a weird film, collaborative work), 2001
- Vogel + Klo (bird + toilet), 2003
- GRAUZONE (grey area), 2003
He is currently studying at the Royal College of Art for his MA in Animation, where he has made two other films:
- In Winter, 2006
- It, God. (currently in production)
