Artistic statement :

HotLead is a tribute to Film Noir. It was inspired by such films as “Out of the Past” and the “Third Man”. Films in which much of storytelling was told through  lighting, (shadows) and cinematography.  Through a combination of traditionally hand drawn art and digital motion graphics, It was an experiment in visual storytelling without a lot of dialogue. How much could be told done with so little? A stack of papers, boxes of pencils and a computer with some software.
