Artist's Statement
The film, "Male Restroom Etiquette," was made by Phil Rice over a period of approximately six months, working part-time, on a next-to-nothing budget. The animation was made using a technique known as "machinima," or animation which is performed in a real-time 3D environment. More often than not, this real-time 3D environment is the graphics engine of a video game. In this particular instance, that game was The Sims 2, made by EA Games (Electronic Arts, Inc.).
