Joonas Nissi

Joonas Nissi (born in Kemi, Finland) is a 24-year-old graphic artist whose primary interests are animation and new media. His animations have been displayed at several festivals as well as online over 3000 times. After getting his Bachelor's degree in June 2007 he has been working as graphic designer and a prop assistant in a movie, as well as experimenting with different animation techniques. He also took part in a group art exhibition displaying young artist's work in September 2007 where his gouache paintings were very well received.
He is also interested in Web 2.0, Robert M. Pirsig's Metaphysics of Quality, beat poetry, playing music, polaroid photography and reading and collecting all kinds of interesting literature. More info about Joonas Nissi and his work can be found at http://www.maryque.com
