Summary: "Phoenix Talons" (literally translated from the Chinese) is a poetic term for what is commonly known as chicken feet. A Chinese lady reflects on the appeal of eating them whilst preparing a version of the classic dim sum dish.

Biography of Ray Wong

Ray Wong has made short films from no-budget to low-budget commissions, and had them exhibited both in Britain and overseas (2005 San Francisco Asian American Film Festival and the British Council ‘British Short Film Days’ tour in Turkey in 2004). He also was also a runner-up in the 2003 BBC Talent New Filmmakers Award for his short, ‘A Stoner’s Guide To Making Egg Fried Rice’. He is currently developing a feature documentary which follows three generations of Chinese women of the same family.
