A short film based on a Japanese nesuke charm of Tenaga (long arms) and Ashinaga (Long Legs) an ancient Eastern symbol of cooperation. This film explores symbolism in a post-apocalyptic place where two colossal shapes reach with each other, interlock and cooperate to generate life.

THIS IS STUDIO comprises of three creative partners. Dougal Burgess, Jacob Beech and Richard Barnett. The co-operative was started after the boys graduated from their Graphic Design course at the University of the Arts, London in 2006. Although hailing from a background in Graphic Design, the studio’s portfolio spans many creative disciplines including, Moving Image, Photography, Typography and Interactive Design.
In the past year the studio has won a broad range of commissions, ranging from tour visuals for major record labels to brochure designs for leading British Universities and other design work for retail outlets. These projects have enabled the studio’s portfolio to go from strength to strength. Showcasing the boy’s ability to create intelligent and functional designs. The studios strengths lie in their ability to adapt easily to each brief, exerting their works playfulness and flexibility. In projects, such as ‘Tensegrity Conversations’ and ‘Co-operation – Tenaga & Ashinaga’, THIS IS STUDIO have shown that they are more than capable of taking complete creative control, just as they are when working to a set brief.
