Biography Continued: In 2005 he was one of the composers for the soundtrack of the Estonian short film 'Another' ("Grand Prize 2006 Cinessone European Film Festival, France" and Best Dancefilm 2005 Arte Television) with composers Skuli Sverrisson and Eyvind Kang. He also provided the sound design for this film. 'Another' has been shown in festivals and on television in France, Estonia, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Iceland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Russia, Israel, London, Los Angeles, New York Birkir has worked as a composer and producer with various musicians, including Icelandic singer/songwriter Fabula. Playing guitar and producing her Dusk album, which was released by major Icelandic record label Sena (2006), they toured Iceland and Canada in 2006-2007. www.fabula.is

Birkir played guitar in the musical Footloose based on the film. Which was performed in Reykjavà k's biggest theatre from June 2006 until January 2007. Birkir started working on his first solo album, Single Drop, in September 2006 collaborating with various talented musicans. www.myspace.com/singledrop.
He signed to indie label R&R Musik and Single Drop was released in May 2007 in Iceland, receiving rave reviews ("one of the best rock albums I've heard for a long time" - Atli Bollason, MBL). He will be performing Single Drop at Iceland Airwaves Festival in October 2007.

Birkir has also write and played music with Kristjana Stefánsdóttir well known as the greatest female jazzsinger in Iceland and they went on a tour in august in Germany. Birkir has worked as a guitar teacher since 2002-2007 at Guitarschool of Iceland and Music School of Seltjarnarnes. And he have also worked as a freelance sound engineer. In July 2007, Birkir moved to London to promote his new solo album Single Drop.
