Seaton Lin

BIO

Seaton Lin attended university in Houston, Texas at the University of Houston, majoring in communications and film studies. After graduating in 1999, Seaton went to work at Texas Video and Post as a jr. designer. His duties were assisting the Flame artists in assets and content creation for the music videos / commercials that came through the
firm. A year later, Seaton Lin moved to Los Angeles, where he worked at local television station, GTV6 in Glendale, where he produced motion graphics/design for the all the shows for that channel. Here, Seaton honed his skills as a designer, and got hired at the top motion graphics firm, Belief Studios. After two years of working at Belief Studios, Seaton went on to become a freelancer at many top motion design firms: 2000
Strong, Three Legged Cat, Zoic Studios, Sway, Autonomy, Blissium, G4 Television, Ant Farm, Crew Creative, Montgomery, Army, and Outpost Digital. In mid 2005 (to present) Seaton began directing music videos for independent music producers and artists. He has worked with an array of artists (which include The Bravery, Shiny Toy Guns, Nexus 102, Roger Moon, Pin, and Minutes Til Midnight). In 2007, Seaton has partnered up with designer associate, Ryan Apuy to form Ab5trax, LLC. They have just finished their first design job at Paramount Pictures, for up coming movie, "Nowhereland.”
