Sophia Segal Biography

"Mirror Mirror" is my debut music video and was officially launched 1.2.2007. On March 13th 2007, "Mirror Mirror" was nominated for The Best Music Video Category at Yahoo.com's “The Veddy Awards – 06” . Credits include; producing, directing, art direction, DP, editing, costumes, make-up, audio, misc production hats and finally starring as featured artist.

I currently offer multiple production and administration skills as well as character movement consulting on the set, location and in the studio. My production background, hands-on experience, training and education stem from stage production, repertory theatre, industrials, rockers, TV, film, music videos and the fine arts. My past Union affiliation was with Local 15 in Seattle, WA. I’m a member of SAG and ASCAP.

My immediate goal is to work with respected music video directors and innovative music video, film and TV production companies that facilitate professional and artistic growth. My long term goal is to one day achive artist representation, directing top industry talent for music videos. Meanwhile, I continue to produce more music videos for upcoming musical projects and collaborate with like-minded filmmakers to expand my personal reel and techincal knowledge.
