DIRECTOR’S BIO

Christopher St. John, director and animator of the "Almost Home" animated video, has long been a fan of animation and music. As a kid, he devoured the rare opportunities to see animated shorts from behind the Iron Curtain which were sometimes broadcast on PBS late at night. He later grew up to be a committed "midnight movie" animation compilation afficionado.

He began experimenting with digital animation ten years ago on his home computer. "Almost Home" is his first complete animated film. It was created to accompany the North American college radio hit by the San Francisco band, Outgrabe. Christopher designed the "dream noir" look to complement the story the song lyrics tell of lovers on the run.

So far, this music video has appeared in many film festivals around the world:

2007 Tiburon International Film Festival,Tiburon, USA
