“Wooden Lions” is an animated music video for the band Summerbirds in the Cellar. It features a combination of stop motion and hand drawn technique. It features over 500 individual images onto paper, as well as a few actual wooden lions.

Biography of Director

Charles Pieper is a second semester junior at Emerson College, where he studies film and animation. He has also studied film at NCSA, CalArts, and FAMU in Prague. His main focus is stop motion animation and older fashioned handmade filmmaking techniques. He has animated music videos for the bands 'Dufus' and 'Summerbirds in the Cellar' and is always interested in making more videos and animations.
